I discuss potential formations for the 2018 season, key position battles, potential contributors, and the team’s ability to recover if injuries strike. Graphics of formations used and 2016/2017 points wrap up the article. Enjoy!
Approach: We pulled the roster data on June 15th (8pm MST). Our goals were to:
Estimate roster spots and cap space
Assess team needs
Assess potential free agency options. However, the focus this year will be highlighting key positions of need instead of potential landing spots for players. We received too many requests to not identify players this off-season.
I wanted to provide a bit of an overview of each game. Please open the following attachment to view the rest of the information between Indy and Denver. Enjoy!
To start looking at our next big off season event, Nils and I teamed up to look at the free agency landscape on the AFC side. We estimate around 322m will be available for the AFC to fill some gaps in rosters and make a run at pushing Tennessee out of the Championship chair. That cash will come in handy as 1,150 free agents (excluding rookies) are looking to earn paychecks in the AFC. This article will concentrate on the AFC South.
