Happy to be part of this new league start-up. My name is Chris Paddock and I live in Riverside, CA in the “inland empire” where rain and clean air are pretty scarce. Serious dynasty and IDP player and have played for a number of years. Love to study the game and try to get better…my effort does not always translate into wins, but I enjoy it. Competitive, but try not to take myself too seriously. Willing to trade and take risks…always looking to find win-win deals. Took up fantasy to fill the void left by my two daughters going off to college. Played D-1 soccer in college at Indiana University, flew A-6Es in the Navy and now work in retail supply chain engineering. Outside of work, I hike a lot and watch flicks with my wife. Big comic book and fantasy fiction fan. I look forward to a great inaugural season in the IFL with you guys.
Hey all, name’s Nick and I’m a product of Manitoba, Canada. A land full of mosquitos, farmland and barren, -40°C, testicle freezing winters. It seems as though my new position as the Owner and GM of the Birmingham Fire may warrant a move down south, however, as the daily commute would be killer. I personally don’t know much about the city of Birmingham, other than the fact that they love the governor. What I do know is that by the end of our inaugural season, this city is going to love its Fire even more. Whether it be with a rag-tag group of grizzled vets, high-potential young guns or a mix of the both, my management style and (more likely) sheer determination to compete will make the Birmingham Fire one of the greatest dynasties to grace the fantasy football world. We in Birmingham are looking forward to the league’s inaugural season and look forward to dominating this league for years to come. Good luck to you all, especially our division rivals in Sacramento, Seattle and San Antonio, you’re going to need it.

I help run the numbers in the International Basketball League, keeping track of cap hits and other salary issues. I’ve been a fan of the International Fantasy League for a while and can’t wait to get started in the Intercontinental.

Dan here. NFL novice but am pretty decent at other fantasy sports – This won’t take me long to pick this up. Live in London with partner and 2 dogs. Love travelling, front doors, films with subtitles, blocking books by colour and not genre and draft picks. Hello my name is Matt and I am 40 years old from Ohio. I am married with 2 kids. I have grown up being a huge Browns fan which as you know has been tough since they have come back into the league. I remember the 80s well when i was growing up the days of Bernie Kosar when the Browns were actually good! In 8th grade a buddy of mine introduced me to fantasy baseball. We started a 2-man league and branched out getting more people to join. But, this is pre-computer days so we had to get a paper Baseball Weekly out of a machine you put a dollar in and you pulled it out yourself. We had to do all the stats ourselves but one thing was certain I was hooked on the fantasy concept. Sometime later I got into fantasy football and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the excitement and competition that it brings. It’s also just a great release for me to escape the real world sometimes when things aren’t going my way. I enjoy writing league articles and talking to other owners on slack about trades or just bantering back and forth. I do enjoy some trash talking but can and will keep it non-personal. I am really looking forward to this start up and all the good times ahead.
I reside in the Great Northwest of the U.S. of A. Out on an Island in Washington State. I started rooting for the Seahawks in 1992…when I though 8-8 football was good! Flash forward 20 some years when I nearly died 04/18/2014 on the job when I came into contact with 277v @20 amps for 5-8 seconds. I had to start over. The “long term sequela of electrical injury” makes my everyday life quite uncomfortable. I have died before dying… Two years ago, my brain doctor asked me about my old hobbies most of which I could not do anymore until she perked up after I said I used to play FF. She told me fantasy football is a great dynamic chaotic puzzle for my brain recovery. So, I went for the craziest hard-core boarder line GM simulation I could find! I now have 6 teams of varying settings! Hello All! I’m Sean from Colorado, Castle Rock to be exact (30 minutes South of Denver). I’ve been a sports fans since I basically birth, about 32 years ago! Football is probably my favourite sport. I’m a huge fan of the Carolina Panthers, but grew up a Miami Dolphins fan. I’ve been playing fantasy football since 1999, I’ve been in same Dynasty League for about 19 years now. I’m one of about 6 original owners in that league out 16; pretty special bond that we’ve formed being a part of the same league for almost 20 years. I love to trade, especially for draft picks as I believe the draft is how you build Dynasty juggernaut. See ya guys around
