LOS ANGELES CHARGERS – DRAFT REVIEW

I had to go with the San Diego Chargers. I just can’t say Los Angeles Chargers, even though they are the only team in LA right now. Decker had three draft picks. Lets get this knocked out.

5.01 – Myles Gaskin – RB – Dolphins

Decker’s Comments: Who knows. It’s the Dolphins, so that sucks. Who knows. But dude does it all though. Who knows. Just doesn’t do anything on an elite level. Who knows. Great vision though. Who knows. Drake seems like the guy. Who knows. Not wild to think Gaskin outplays Ballage. Who knows. See if that college millage shows up early in his career. Who knows. Mkay? Who knows.

Thank God for “cut and paste”. What is with all the noses? I get it. You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can’t pick your friends nose, unless you pass out on the floor during the draft in Vegas. Myles Gaskin was a name. Decker actually called this correct. He is a non athletic, well known college player. Gaskin scored 47 points last year. Not good considering the Dolphins couldn’t do anything, including give him a chance. The last game of the season they gave him 16 carries and he rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown. Moving forward Gaskin could be the backup to the Dolphins rookie RB. THIS WAS NOT A GOOD PICK.

6.13 – Keelan Doss – WR – Raiders

Decker’s Comments: None

Doss should go to sleep and thank HBO for making him known. If it is wasn’t for Hard Knocks nobody would know who he is. In the preseason Doss did okay. During the regular season he never got a chance. I actually think Doss has a chance to become relevant in the future. Doss scored 27 points last year. For the 6th round flyer, THIS WAS NOT A BAD PICK.

6.15 – Mitch Wishnowsky- P – 49ers

Decker’s Comments: Probably will be my highest scoring draft pick (Comments Added Friday, Jun 7 12:32 p.m. PT 2019 (Comments Added Thu Jan 9 12:33:03 p.m. PT 2020) Trust me, not MFL. This comment happened long ago and way before Craig’s draft review articles started… (Comments Added Thu Jan 9 12:34:16 p.m. PT 2020)

When in doubt at the end of the 6th round, go get a polish guy with a big head who kicks the shit out of the ball. Wishnowksy booted his way to 148 points last year. He was the 20th ranked punter in the AFC and saved Decker $105000 below the $810000 normal price. I think this kind of takes the fun out of the draft. Take your lottery ticket and shoot for the stars. Don’t draft a punter. THE POINTS WERE FINE, BUT THIS WAS A CHICKEN SHIT BALE OUT DRAFT PICK.

Decker had three picks and other than his punter, did not contribute. I do like the Doss pick at the end of the 6th as future possibilities. Last year Decker was a non factor in the draft.
