Giants 2017 Goal: No More Losing

When you compete in anything, you come at a crossroads. In IFL you either step up or move out the way. NFC East will be tough. Last year was a tough one for me going 5-1 in your first 6 games and then not to get a win until a month later is so frustrating words do not describe the pain that stretch was. But that is in the past and 2017 is here and NFC EAST looks a lot better than last year. Chosen one is well the chosen one and the NFC top winning team from last year (I know this cause he has reminded me on slack at least once, twice a week? LOL). That does not mean the division is only just his team. Chris has very good team in Phi and Wash has young players can hit to with Hopkins and Ajayi. But I have to go for the gusto there 5 top safeties in the NFL and Honey Badger is one of them. He has been injured for the last 2 years but is looking for a bounce back season and I am betting he will. In 2015 he scored 283 points when he was a MVP candidate. I add him to a good core of Griffin Vernon and Jones+ others.

Now does my offense has question marks?

No doubt. But Gurely can bounce back with a improved core around him, he can get back to being a top tier RB. With him, Crowder, My 2 headed TE in Kelece and Jimmy Graham and two solid QBs in Dak and Curt Cousins I like my chances to score on a 300 on a weekly bases.

I feel I gave up a lot in this trade. To me Justin Evans will be starting S for TB this time next year if not sooner and I do value my #1 picks but to win you have to take chances and to have Honey Badger on my team for the next couple of years at 7+ million is a worthwhile investment. Bottom line is I don’t want to be an afterthought in the NFC a punch-line as a bad owner. The Cowboys sit at the top were I want to be. I know there will be tough games left and right starting week 1 with Mark in NE and Wash Brian in front.

Playoffs or bust in NYC would not have it any other way!!!!
