2018 Pre-Season Projections: San Francisco 49ers

Coach: Doug Pederson 7 PPG

QB: Marcus Mariota 25 PPG

It feels like Marcus Mariota is finally free of the archaic offense that’s bogged his fantasy value down his first three years. The exotic smashmouth offense lacked originality and ignored modern NFL analytics, but those days with the Titans are over with Matt LaFleur. Mariota’s dual-threat ability gives him an elite ceiling and we finally may see the Titans offense explode. It all comes down to creative gameplanning. I’m in wait and see mode with Mariota’s projection, with him still being projected as a below average IFL starter, but he can be so much more. 2018 Pre-Season Projections: Los Angeles Rams

Coach: Pete Carroll 5 PPG

QB: Russell Wilson 30 PPG

Last season there was no player that scored more points in IFL than Wilson. A true dual-threat player, Wilson has the perceived opportunity to go even more bonkers, with his defense taking a major step back, increasing Seattle’s shootout potential. Unfortunately for all fantasy players involved, Wilson’s supporting cast has also taken a step back and their offensive line will continue to keep Wilson running for his life. They also hired archaic Brian Schottenheimer, who historically calls a run-heavy offense. Wilson is still a great bet for top 5 QB production, but a small regression is expected after a monster fantasy output in 2017. Continue reading 2018 Pre-Season Projections: Los Angeles Rams →

2018 Pre-Season Projections: Arizona Cardinals

Coach: Dan Quinn 6 PPG

QB: Deshaun Watson 30 PPG

Mhmmmm what an amazing start of a career for the super stud from Clemson. Watson wasn’t the starter initially, but after Tom Savage was thrown into the Sarlaac Pit of Sacksonville, the rookie took over the world. Watson was posting an absurd 35 PPG pace and that won’t continue for 2018, but his dual-threat ability puts Watson in the elite QB1 conversation. The biggest obstacle from Watson’s continued dominance is his league-worst offensive line. Good thing he can scramble! Continue reading 2018 Pre-Season Projections: Arizona Cardinals →

2018 Pre-Season Projections: Minnesota Vikings

Coach: Doug Marrone 6 PPG

QB: Ben Roethlisberger 28 PPG

It feels like Big Ben has played with the NFL’s two best offensive weapons for decades. With no, Super Bowl rings to show, it’s a damn shame they haven’t been able to even sneak a Super Bowl appearance with the 3 B’s. Roethlisberger is getting up there in age and has expressed interest in life after football, but with Antonio Brown in his prime and Le’Veon Bell coming back for at least one more season, it’s safe to fire up Roethlisberger as your QB1.  Continue reading 2018 Pre-Season Projections: Minnesota Vikings →

2018 Pre-Season Projections: Green Bay Packers

Coach: Mike McCarthy 6 PPG

QB: Alex Smith 27 PPG

Alex Smith balled out last year transforming his game after being pushed by Kansas City after they traded up for replacement Patrick Mahomes. Traded early in the offseason to Washington, Smith will look to continue his hyper-efficient and now deep throwing ways. An over 30 PPG production again is extremely unlikely, but I like him to continue his top 10 production with his rushing bonus cooked in. Smith is in the prime age for quarterbacks to be at their best and if Washington’s receiving weapons can take a step forward, the Redskins could be a very good team. Denver Dave Wake Up Call

DAVE you haven’t set a line up yet regardless up what pu$$y dynasty leagues you have played in previously. The sooner you wake up and realize that and respect the talent in this league the sooner you will realize you have no chance at winning no matter how chittay your division is. If you played in any other division in this league you would be guaranteed to not make the playoffs. Your only chance this year is wining the weakest division in the IFL. you should worry more about winning your division than you do any other team in this league.

Kind Regards,

Fuck you pay me!

2018 Pre-Season Projections: Detroit Lions

Coach: Sean McVay 7 PPG

QB: Carson Wentz 31 PPG

The 2017 MVP before he tore his ACL and Big Dick Foles had to carry the Eagles to their first Super Bowl, Wentz is gearing up for another elite season. Wentz came into his own in year two, with an offense catered to his strengths, and plus offensive pieces surrounding him. Nothing major has changed except the OC is out of town, but that shouldn’t change much as Doug Peterson was calling the plays anyway. Another MVP season could be well on the way, as is a top 3 QB campaign. Continue reading 2018 Pre-Season Projections: Detroit Lions →

2018 Pre-Season Projections: Chicago Bears

Coach: Kyle Shanahan 4 PPG

QB: Blake Bortles 25 PPG

The BOAT himself, Blake enters 2018 as a game manager type with upside. Despite his below average real-life results, he’s actually been an above average fantasy quarterback for spurts, especially before the Jags became a run-first team. Now with Fournette in the fold and the Jags gameplaning around Bortles’ careless ways, he’s a middling option at best. Nic will upgrade this position before the deadline.
