You know the score by now, (and so do those scandalous writers at DLF) we’re basing the pre-Combine mocks on the landing spots for the players from Matt Miller’s NFL mock draft on Bleacher Report 

With the AFC in the books let’s move to the NFC.

Round one of the NFC 2019 Draft, here we go:

1.01 Joshua Jacobs, RB Alabama | Oakland Raiders
NFC Washington (Formerly Rams)

The early talk is Jacobs is the most talented back in the class, the rookie may choose talent over situation. Also, it’s boring to have a mock with the same picks for each!

1.02 David Montgomery, RB Iowa State | Kansas City Chiefs
NFC Seahawks (Formerly Panthers)

The Seahawks will be loving this pick and I imagine his phone will be ringing off the hook if a Kansas City bound Monty is available here.

1.03 N’Keal Harry, WR Arizona State | Green Bay Packers 
NFC Dallas (Formerly Bucs)

Is it a smokescreen? Is it the truth? Who knows if Barry’s recent comments are true but for the sake of this mock, let’s say it’s true.

1.04 Damien Harris, RB Alabama | Buffalo Bills
NFC Arizona

Arizona attempts another roll of the dice with a running back high in the draft, Jai will be hoping he’s not drafted another Royce Freeman.

1.05 Hakeem Butler, WR Iowa State | Indianapolis Colts
NFC Seattle (Formerly Lions)

Butler is vaulted up a few picks as there are some fans of the Iowa State product in the NFC and the pairing with Andrew Luck is enticing.

1.06 Nick Bosa, DE Ohio State | Arizona Cardinals
NFC Giants (Formerly Vikings)

He’s not Gurley replacement but Nick Bosa would be a much needed injection of talent into a sparse defensive end position group.

1.07 DK Metcalf, WR Ole Miss | Baltimore Ravens
NFC 49ers (Formerly Eagles)

Josh once Tweeted about him, saying the phrase ‘Huh’ in response to a beefed up DK, if that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know, then nothing will.

1.08 Darrell Henderson RB, Memphis | New York Jets
NFC Cowboys (Formerly Rams)

A little drop for Henderson in the NFC as Brian gets another running back to bolster his offensive unit with no desperate need for a linebacker.

1.09 Devin White, LB LSU | Cincinnati Bengals 
NFC Bucs (Formerly Washington)

Luke will be watching with interest as he sees Devin drop down the board and swoops in at the 1.09 to draft a potential star to his defence.

1.10 Rodney Anderson, RB, Oklahoma | Houston Texans 
NFC Cardinals (Formerly 49ers)

A lovely talent but can he stay fit? Only time will tell but the Cardinals roll the dice again with a running back in the first round.

1.11 Devin Singletary, RB FAU | Baltimore Ravens
NFC Packers

With three Ravens backs on the Packers roster already it only makes sense they grab the incoming rookie too!

1.12 Tre Lamar, LB Clemson | Oakland Raiders
NFC Saints

The landing spot for Lamar is just too good for Carlos to pass up here without a sure fire offensive talent left on the board.

1.13 AJ Brown, WR Ole Miss | Buffalo Bills
NFC Cowboys (Formerly Giants)

It’s a sizeable drop for Brown but he is a talent and Dallas does love to accumulate talented players.

1.14 Kelvin Harmon, WR North Carolina State | Houston Texans
NFC Eagles (Formerly Seahawks)

Personally I’m not a huge fan of the landing spot for Harmon but for some GMs it may not be an issue and they back his talent.

1.15 JJ Arcega-Whiteside, WR Stanford | San Francisco 49ers
NFC Giants (Formerly Bears)

With Gurley no longer in NYC, the Giants will be firmly focused on rebuilding their offence. JJ could be Jimmy G’s favourite new target.

1.16 Devin Bush, LB Michigan | Minnesota Vikings
NFC Cowboys

The rich get richer as the Cowboys close out the first round with the second best LB as teams favoured offence.
