The IFL Hall of Fame: 2022 Finalists

Your Guide to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Museum

The votes are in and the IFL GM’s have spoken.

For those that forgot, all qualifying candidates for the 2022 HOF (criteria here) were placed into a semi-final pool for the IFL’s Inaugural Hall of Fame class. From these players the top 10 vote getters move on to the Finals.

But first, let’s talk about those that did not make the cut.

Officially Eliminated

There’s only one! Glover Quin is the only player to not receive a single vote, which makes me wonder if people even looked at the stats. Mr. Quin has been eliminated and will never be in the Hall.

So Sad…

One Massive Snub

There is always going to be those that are left out, but there is one that I will note that surprised me.

Shane Lechler.

WTF are people thinking. Shane only received 6 votes after ending his two year career with an average rank of #3 at his position, a career average of 11.88 pts/game, and a PN 1 finish in 2017.

Punter’s are people too!

All other players that did receive at least one vote will be placed into next year’s semi-finalist class along with the new 1st ballot players.

In this vote, all players that receive over 80% of votes submitted will be inducted to the Hall of Fame.

This class isn’t a great one, but the process starting is what matters.
