What a difference one draft slot makes. The 1.14 was utter shit. The 1.13 was awesome. This year Devon Achane was drafted by Denver and Drew Sanders was drafted by Arizona. Once you see the upcoming list, these two picks should be glad they are 1.13 picks.
With so much talent chosen with the 1.13, it is no wonder the 1.14 was so bad. Lets get this list started.
1 and 2 out of 14: Justin Jefferson – WR was drafted in 2020 by Buffalo and Philadelphia. These owners hit the jackpot. I can comfortably say that Justin Jefferson has a chance to go down as one of the great IFL receivers. In his first 3 years in the league, Jefferson has averaged a whopping 346 points. He is young and he has a chance to be the IFL #1 receiver for the next 5 years. This is one of the best picks in the history of the IFL at the 1.13.

3 out of 14: Deforest Buckner – DT – Drafted by Philadelphia in 2016.
Buckner will go down as one of the all time great DT’s in the history of the IFL. He is incredibly consistent and he has one many weeks for his owners. Over the last 7 years Buckner has averaged 255 points per season. He is one of the main reasons why the DT is such an important position in the IFL. Buckner is truly special. This was an amazing pick at the 1.13.

4 out of 14: Deion Jones – LB – Drafted by Kansas City in 2016
It is incredible that two players drafted at 1.13 seven years ago made it this high on the list. Jones has been one of the top IDP linebackers throughout his history in the IFL. Over 7 seasons he has averaged 225 points per year. He had several seasons over 300 points and he helped his owners win many games. Jones was one of the best IDP selections in the IFL over the last 7 years. This was a fantastic pick at the 1.13.

5 out of 14: Trevor Lawrence – QB – Drafted in 2021 by Indianapolis
After a typical rough first year for a starting quarterback, Lawrence took a huge step forward as Jacksonville got rid of Urban Meyer and surrounded Lawrence with some weapons. Lawrence responded with a nice 2nd year. Over two years, Lawrence has averaged 375 points. With the acquisition of Ridley and another year with Doug Pederson, Lawrence is one of the bright young QBS in the IFL. With his rookie salary and the 5th year option, Lawrence is looking like he is a great pick for the 1.13.

6 out of 14: Devonta Smith – WR – Drafted by New York Giants in 2021
Smith had a nice first in Philadelphia. He had a great second year. While people think AJ Brown is the #1 there, Smith was extremely consistent and held his own as the 1A in the receiving core. Over his first two seasons Smith has averaged 237 points per season. I anticipate this number to increase over the next couple of years. Smith is a great route runner and he is very solid after the catch. He should lead the Eagles offense in receptions for the next 5 years. This was a great pick with the 1.13.

7 out of 14: Deebo Samuel – WR – Drafted by Tennessee in 2019
Deebo is one of the true swiss army knives in the IFL. He runs the ball. He catches passes. He can do it all. Over his first 4 years in the league Deebo has averaged 212 points per season. This number would be higher if he didn’t have to deal with several injuries in his first 4 seasons. Deebo may never return to his high level when he was garnering 8 handoffs per games, but his fewer touches should allow him to lengthen his career. While this pick wasn’t elite, it is still a really good pick at the 1.13.

8 of 14: Calvin Ridley – WR – Drafted by New York Jets in 2018
I bet you didn’t think Ridley would end up here. Ridley is incredibly talented. Just like Eddie Calvin Leloosh, Ridley has a million dollar body with a 10 cent head. He has missed the last two years of football. That being said, Ridley has averaged 165 points in his first 4 years in the IFL.Ridley is still very young and does not have that much wear and tear on his body. I am assuming that he has grown up alot. Many people in the fantasy world are saying that Ridley has top 10 receiver potential this year in Jacksonville. For that reason, he is listed right here and is still viewed as a solid pick with the 1.13.

9 out of 14: Rashan Evans – LB – Drafted by Carolina in 2018
Evans has been a solid first and second down thumper in the IFL. Over his first 5 seasons, Evans has averaged a very respectable 190 points per season. In the right situation like Atlanta last year, Evans was a solid contributor and scored well over 200 points. At this point, Evans is still a free agent, but he should get picked up by someone. Evans is still only 26 so he should be able to play for a few more years. This was still a good pick at the 1.13.

10 and 11 out of 14: Kyle Hamilton – S – Drafted by Indianapolis and New Orleans in 2022.
I think drafting Hamilton in the first round was a bit of a reach. He ran a very slow time at the combine so I am not sure if he will ever be a solid IDP contributor. In his first year in the league, Hamilton scored 147 points. To make matters worse, the Ravens signed Roquon Smith the top IDP LB. I’m not sure what Hamilton’s real position is in the NFL. His upside is a the starting strong safety. His floor is a nickel back. I think Hamilton will be a lower starting option into the future, even though he will probably never be a stud.

12 out of 14: Noah Fant – TE – Drafted in 2019 by Dallas.
When Fant came out of Iowa it wasn’t known if he or Hockenson was the TE to own. As it turns out Fant hasn’t been in that great of situations. In his first 4 years in the league, Fant has averaged a solid 190 points per game. I really think that Fant is much better than his production. He just needs to get in a situation that values the TE. I still find it incredible that someone with 190 average points is sitting at 12 out of 14. It just shows how good of spot the 1.13 is.

13 out of 14: Samaje Perine – RB – Drafted by Houston in 2017
The two picks of 2017 are listed 13 and 14 in this list. I had a hard time deciding between the two who would be last. I decided to list Perine 13th because of his production last year and his potential to score over 200 points in Denver this year. Perine has averaged 101.5 points over his first 6 seasons in the IFL. He hasn’t done much over his first 4 seasons, but Perine won’t go away. He has proven to be an excellent backup RB and and decent 3rd down option.

14 out of 14: David Njoku – TE – Drafted by Detroit in 2017
This was the year that Cleveland analytics had them taking athletes. Njoku is a physical freak. Zeke Elliott isn’t the only one who can show off his stomach and look good. In his first 6 years in the league, Njoku has averaged 124 points per year. The Browns did show confidence in him and gave him a healthy extention. I know it takes TE’s time to develop maybe this will be his time.

This is the first time that all 14 players have averaged over 100 points. I am going to guess that there aren’t many draft slots that will be able to say this. As you can see, the 1.13 was a historically great draft slot. I hope you enjoyed this. Stay tuned for 1.12.
