It’s that time of year where losers lose and winners win. My not so bold prediction is that the Cleveland Browns find a way to mess this up badly. A la Cleveland Kyle or A-Aron in New York.

1. Cleveland Browns: Sam “Oh Darn”old – I have heard Baker Mayfield here although I believe that is a smoke screen to see what the Jets would be willing to pay. Don’t Kyle this up!
2. New York Giants: Saquon Barkley – Eli is in the best shape for a 37-year-old that Pat Shurmur has ever seen. Barkley is the most gifted running back in this class and only has one knock and that his knack for trying to take every carry to the house instead of gaining the tough yards. He will take Marf nowhere.
3. New York Jets (from Colts): Baker Mayfield – They moved up, it must be for the Baker, right? If only he were a little bit taller…
4. Cleveland Browns: Bradley Chubb – The browns get a blue-chip player and book end to team of with Garrett. This could be a franchising changing pick.
5. Buffalo Bills (from Broncos): Josh Rosen –   The Bills move up for their guy. I think this could have been Josh Allen, but he will slide a bit with Matt’s recent release of tweet’s on RNT about Allen’s high school days.
6. Indianapolis Colts (from Jets): Roquan Smith – The process has been quiet on Smith. That is shocking being that he is an NFL stud of a linebacker. Could he be a 4 down player?
7. Tampa Bay Bucs: Derwin James – The Bucs like Florida State players because their probation officers are close by. James stays in the state and helps an awful secondary.
8. Chicago Bears: Quenton Nelson – Need to protect TruBEARsky so he can throw it to Robinson. This should make Howard’s fantasy status improve also. Nelson is touted as one of the best prospects in this draft.
9. San Francisco: Denzel Ward – The Niners need to help their defense. Since Foster beat his girlfriend and threatened/paid her to change her story LB is no longer a must have with this pick. Ward is smaller and doesn’t have the body type of some of the other cornerbacks in this draft, but he does play bigger than he is.
10. Oakland Raiders: Tremaine Edmunds  – Oakland needs help on defense and Edmunds is a monster of a man who might still be growing. But does he help Amari regain his rookie form?
11. Miami Dolphins: Josh Allen – Surely Miami cannot roll with Tannehill again. Josh Allen would be a good fit in Miami since they like hookers and blow and white guys that say the N word.
12. Denver Broncos (from Bills): Jaire Alexander – They need a cornerback and Alexander’s 2016 tape is impressive. The Broncos need him to regain that form.
13. Washington Redskins: Mike McGlinchey – The redskins need to protect Alex Smith open holes for Fat Rob. McGlinchey is a clean prospect but not necessarily great.
14. Green Bay Packers: Minkah Fitzpatrick – A far cry from 5^th overall where I originally had him mocked. He is considered a tweener and that make scare some teams.
15. Arizona Cardinals: Lamar Jackson – The Cards signed Bradford to a 1 year $20 Million contract. If history repeats itself he will play one game. Jackson is better adept at running for his life than Sam is.
16. Baltimore Ravens: DJ Moore – A playmaker WR is exactly what the ravens need. He reminds me of Steve Smith with his quickness and toughness.
17. LA Chargers: Marcus Davenport – Pair him with Bosa and the Chargers defense is instantly improved.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Josh Jackson – Only a one-year starter so his tape is limited, but what you see is an athlete with elite ball skills.
19. Dallas Cowboys: Vita Vea – Vea is powerful and can maybe help keep S. Lee healthy for a full season.
20. Detroit Lions: Derrius Guice – Stafford needs a running game to help prolong his career and get them to the next level. Guice checks all the boxes. His 2017 was hindered by injuries but his 2016 tape is nasty.
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Rashaan Evans – Compared to Hightower although maybe a better pass rushed. Can be a 3 down LB in the NFL.
22. Denver Broncos (from Bills): Will Hernandez – They need someone to protect Case Keenum. Will is big and nasty, but not very athletic.
23. Patriots: Da’Ron Payne – Bill loves OL and DL with these picks. It is hard to mock anything else. If Payne makes it to 23, I would not expect them to wait long to turn in the card. Poor man’s Jonathan Allen.
24. Carolina Panthers: Courtland Sutton – I really don’t know who else the Panthers have a WR other than Funchess and that name is not scaring anyone. Cam likes big targets because he in inaccurate. Sutton is BIG and can be a red zone weapon.
25. Tennessee Titans: Leighton Vander Esch – Long and rangy but not elite. Still developing and could be a pro bowler in a couple years.
26. Atlanta Falcons: Taven Bryan – They lost D.Poe although Bryan would be an upgrade, a tweener with a good first step.
27. New Orleans Saints: Harold Landry – Fast with a quick twitch and athletically he is off the charts. This could be danger for opposing teams if he pairs with Cam Jordan.
28. Pittsburgh Steelers: Calvin Ridley – The best route runner in the draft slips to the Steelers where he can be a true number two.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars: Hayden Hurst – The reason I like Hurst with this pick is because he can split out wide and catch or play the tradition TE position and block for Fournette which is really what the Jags want to do.
30. Minnesota Vikings: Donte Jackson – Jackson is speedy and can play inside or outside and should be a good man cover corner. T. Newman is now able to return to the nursing home.
31. New England Patriots: Kolton Miller – The Patriots lost a good OT and try to replace him with Miller, who needs to add some strength if he plans on actually protecting Brady.
32. Philadelphia Eagles: Nick Chubb – Could be the steal of this class if he is able to be the player recruited as a top 50 overall coming out of high school. Ajayi’s knees are blowing out as we speak so Chubb fits right in.
