2026 NFC Mock Draft

This is a very unique draft. Looking at the rookie-ranking landscape, it is as misaligned as ever. People have the top 5-10 players that aren’t in others’ top 20. It’s made this mock extra tricky, but I’ve tried to do my best to provide players who fit potential roster needs, rather than the best player available (BPA), as BPA is so hard to tell!

Now time for my personal thoughts on this year’s class:

It is great at EDGE and LBer. It’s good at WR and S, and it’s bad at QB, RB, and DT. One position I can’t quite get a read on is tight end. Sure, there are the two surefire tight end prospects that’ll go early, but there was a historical amount at the position selected. The 2026 draft saw 22 tight ends selected (most since 2002) and 9 tight ends selected within the first three rounds (tying a 2023 record). There is an incoming wave of 12 and 13 personnel en vouge in the NFL. Will that equate to greater tight end production in fantasy football? Time will tell.

The AFC is in a major state of transition. There’s a new owner who shook things up with trading for the now. Mark and Jason, two signature GMs, have over $200 million in cap space. And we are in line to see a record-breaking 30+ picks selected by SBMOF winner Pittsburgh Spencer.

2025 AFC Post-NFL Draft Mock

We now have NFL landing spots! This was the last significant piece of the puzzle before we could start drafting.

A few things to note:

  1. Talent often wins out over opportunity.
  2. However, you can’t produce without snaps, carries, receptions, etc.
  3. Landing spot matters more for IDP than offense.
  4. Oftentimes, good players won’t align properly for fantasy goodness, especially during their rookie year.

These mocks are more landing spot focused. If you’d like to learn more about the prospect in college, view my two previous AFC & NFC mocks.

As a reminder, these may or may not be my honest and true thoughts on players. I have a stake in these too!

2025 NFC Post Combine Mock Draft

The 2024 draft was the year of the wide receiver, with studs like Marvin Harrison, Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr., Ladd McConkey and more providing instant fantasy goodness. Well, that has now flipped as this year features an intense running back group, rumored to potentially feature 10 backs selected on Day 2. It should then come as no surprise they will be flying off fast and furious in our .4 per carry league.

Hope y’all enjoy my first mock draft in two years. As usual, this may or may not be straight propaganda! 🙂

AFC’s Pre-NFL Draft 2-Round Mock Draft

After a year dominated by Craig and Erik’s draft portfolio, it’s a breath of fresh air to see some rebuilding GMs take center stage. Craig and Erik are rounding out their incredible draft build for likely one final time and both are prominent characters in this year’s draft as well. The AFC West is very well represented, with 15 of the total 33 picks coming from those four teams.

This mock is talent and IFL team need-based. There is no projection to landing spots. There are many prospects that will be rising in the coming weeks and I have some guys higher on this mock than conventional wisdom. Obviously, this will change wildly after the NFL draft.

1st Round NFL Mock draft – pre nfl draft

This mock will only take into consideration best player available (draft boards may be different) and team needs. No trades took place. All information as of 6:15 PM on 04/08/2019. I will do a full 7 round draft and release it this week. Lots of new info that could change how I would draft for each team.
