2021 Owner’s meeting ballot preview
This article is a rough draft of our upcoming Owner’s Meeting Ballot. The goal is to review all the current proposals ahead of time so that we can have a round of discussion/debate to allow for improvements and additional proposal ideas before we officially vote.
These ideas have come from various members of the league during the 2020 season. This article will be updated with suggestions and tweaks as they come in.

Marquee Matchups
It’s that time again…
In case you are new here or haven’t been paying attention for a few years, I’ll introduce you to how the series works. I will select the matchups that catch my eye each week. Each matchup will fit into one of the ten marquee categories in the list below (more to come?). Also, new this year, we have two new categories. The first is called Clash of Champions which is just what it sounds like, and the second is called Playoff Preview which will look at a potential matchup that has a high probability of being run back for the playoffs.
The rules are simple. There can be more than one matchup per category each week (but I will do my best to diversify), and not every category will be represented. Some weeks may not have a single marquee matchup, so it’s up to you to stir some shit up. Make some H2H wagers, talk some shit, etc…
If called upon, it is your job to create a piece of content for your opponent. The content must be in audio, video format with a short paragraph directed towards your opponent. The content does not have to be particularly good, so do not feel like you have to make Lord of the Rings 10 or anything. The bar for worst marquee matchup content has been set so low by Andy that no one will ever come close to beating it.
Have fun with it, cause after all that is what we are here for anyway right?
Rivalry Matchup (A heated, inner-divisional rivalry) | Déjà vu  (Either a key SB or playoff replay from a day gone by) |
Grudge Match (Two GMs that have a general disdain for one another) | “Finish Him” (The match has serious playoff implications) |
Wager Match (There is a side bet riding on the match to some degree) | BUMFIGHTS (The title pretty much says it all) |
Win Drought (one GM has dominated the matchups historically) | Challenger Approaches (Anyone can challenge anyone) |
Clash of Champions (A H2H match with two of the IFL's previous Champions) | Playoff Preview (Two teams that could very likely see one another again...) |

It is with heavy hearts that we bring you this news report… Dan, of the Los Angeles Rams wrote to let us know that he won’t have the necessary time to properly engage with the league and that he is open to us finding a replacement. As commissioners, we feel that we owe it to the league to bring in someone who can be competitive, responsive to trades, and most importantly… embrace our wacky culture. The Factory of Sadness has already claimed one, and the season hasn’t even begun. Ex-IFL GM, Jon, tendered his resignation on July 8th, leaving a vacancy in the Cleveland front office. This should come as no surprise to Cleveland fans as they have seen this movie before. GM is hired, GM shits the bed in the inaugural auction, GM shits the already shitty bed in the rookie draft, GM shits all over himself over comments made by fellow GMs, GM quits abruptly…Ok, so maybe this is a new scenario for Cleveland fan, but they have seen it all. If anyone is equipped to overcome this hurdle, it’s Cleveland.
