First of all, I am not a medical doctor nor will I claim to know everything relating to sport injuries, but I do have the ability to interpret the medical information given to us and boil it down for you guys. Also fair warning! Just because the media quotes some doctor on a guy’s injury doesn’t mean it’s the end all be all. Doctors are essential that is for sure, but the fact remains that when it comes to the ability of a player to return to play, doctors are very hit or miss. So let that serve as a warning to you – always take a doctor’s opinion on a professional athlete lightly, unless of course it’s Dr. Andrews they are quoting, that guys knows a thing or two. Secondly, I am giving on the subject matter, based on the current literature and my own personal knowledge concerning sports injuries.
